Maria Isabel Duque
Maria Isabel Duque, a Colombian plastic and visual artist. Besides developing her artwork, she also served as a professor and researcher at some of the universities in Bogota. She taught Theory and Psychology of Color, and basic drawing of the human figure. In the area of artistic creation, her work has developed steadily since 1996 allowing the exploration of various materials and textures; in turn involving and questioning in depth about the symbolism and the inner world of feminine. A universe through its exposed forms, it is intended to show the inner and spiritual essence of the woman, extending its limited boundaries from the obvious to the not explicit.
